Hi Mike. Whereabouts Downunder do you live? My wife and I spent 2 years in Richmond 1980-1982. I flew C-130s with the RAAF. Great gig. Loved every minute
. I have many Aussie friends from that and from my Coaching organization, Focused.Com. Our son was born in Penrith.
Walt! Firstly, thanks for your service. I would presume you're meaning Richmond, NSW? I'm born and bred in the burbs of Melbourne, Victoria. We have a suburb named Richmond - located close to the central city of Melbourne. There are two other 'Richmonds' in Aus. Your son was born in Penrith, NSW. Is he living around those parts today? Penrith has a strong and successful Rugby League team - though I'm more into Australian Rules football. Thanks for commenting - and it's good to connect.
It's a book for thinkers, Jeff. Yes, people are still reading books today, though the way we read is shifting. Digital formats like eBooks and audiobooks have seen significant growth in recent years. Many people prefer audiobooks for convenience, especially while commuting or doing other tasks. The rise of digital platforms like Kindle, Apple Books, and Audible has made reading more accessible than ever.
However, physical books aren't going away. Many readers still appreciate the tactile experience of holding a book (I know I do) and the pleasure of collecting them. In fact, there's been a resurgence of interest in print books, especially with the growth of indie bookstores and book clubs. Certain genres, like self-help, fiction, and non-fiction, continue to perform well in print.
